Read. Align. Feel happy.

When I first discovered my Spirit Guides and the power of energy healing I was hooked. A week didn’t go by when I wasn’t doing a “Major Energetic Cleanse” or a “Massive Spiritual Upgrade”.
It felt great.
Until it stopped feeling great.
Without realizing what had happened I was desperately trapped in a High-Low energy cycle. I went from feeling “Wow, this healing feels great!” to “Blah, now that I’m on my own again I feel worse than ever!”
Sometimes I felt good for days. Sometimes I felt worse just hours later.
I was desperate to find my “center”. I kept asking “Who am I?” “Why am I here?”
Because I wasn’t feeling good overall I assumed I wasn’t going “deep enough” with my healing process. So I went through more and more intense healing sessions.
Then I thought I wasn’t educated enough. So I took more spiritual classes.
Then I thought I wasn’t being humble enough. So I spent hours asking my Spirit Guides hundreds of questions about the nature of the Universe.
Sure, great things were happening. I was feeling better and better during the energetic healings. But I was also going through more emotional drama and confusion in my life than ever before.
I was so confused. Was I getting better or was I getting worse?
Then I Discovered the Huge Mistake I Was Making
Eventually, through trial and error and some kicking and screaming I discovered the biggest mistake I was making.
Without realizing it I was sabotaging my own healing process. And unless I changed something I wasn’t going to get better – ever!
Here’s what I was doing wrong:
As I was going through my “spiritual process” I was saying over and over things like…“I want to clear my traumatic past lives.”“I want to heal my bad relationship patterns.”
“I want to clear my fear of success.”
“I want to remove my negative karma.”
That sounds harmless enough, doesn’t it? It might even sound good.
I thought so.
But if I knew then what I know now… I would never have focused on those things at all!
Get a New Focus
Now I know that we live in a magnetic Universe; like things attract each other. This means that whatever you are thinking about or picturing in your mind the most is what you get more of.
And what was I thinking about the most as I went through my healing process?
You got it!
I was thinking about my issues!
I was focusing about: Traumatic Past Lives, Bad Relationship Patterns, Fear of Success, Negative Karma and more.
I thought I was clearing those things – but the Universe is a large, infinite echo. If you say “No war!” it hears “War…. War... War…”
If you say “No more terrible dates!” it hears “Terrible dates… terrible dates… terrible dates…”
And since I was saying “I want to release my fear” it was hearing “Fear….fear…fear…”
You Must Replace, Not Release
What I also didn’t realize is that Universe is not a vacuum.
You cannot just remove something. You have to replace it with something else.
If you want to remove fatty foods from your diet you can’t just stop eating altogether. You have to replace that food with something else.
If you’re going to stop thinking negative thoughts you can’t just stop thinking. You have to replace those negative thoughts with something else.
In my life I was I saying “I want to remove this fear” and I left it at that. But the Universe was waiting for me to have a new, different focus to send energy to.
I had no new or different focus.
And so during my healing sessions I felt totally connected to Source…
But when the session is over I would re-attract the “Same Old Stuff” again.
And now I felt even worse.
Because now I know how good Source Energy feels.
It’s like I’ve lost 10 pounds only to gain it right back. It feels like such a let-down I almost wish I’d never been thinner in the first place.
But now I know the cure to the potential energetic High/Low cycle of Spiritual Healing and Guidance. Now I can easily avoid any potential negative “after-effects” of a healing or spiritual guidance session.
And you can, too.
To do so you must focus on the results you want from your healing process, not on the healing process itself.
This means you stop saying “I want to heal myself” and you start saying “I choose to be healed.”
But you can't just say it. You have to really mean it. And you know you mean it when, as you say it, you are filled with positive feelings and more positive thoughts.
Tools for Success
I want you to have a successful healing process in your life. So I’m right now I’m going to give you some tips about how to create an intent statement for healing that works.
Applying these techniques will help get you out of any High/Low cycle and make healing and spiritual guidance work for you quickly and easily.
Write it down on paper.
When you write with your hand you get your subconscious involved. This taps you into parts of you, greater parts of you, that are aware of more than you think. In essence, it helps you align with your soul's goals.
Keep writing it down, making it clearer.
When you write things down on paper you may say after a few days or weeks “Uh-oh, I don’t think I really want that…”. This is good. Writing things down gives you a chance to practice really having it in your life. And it is only through life experience that we learn. So don’t worry if you change your mind. You’re supposed to keep evolving.
Re-read or repeat your intent every day.
Repetition is what builds new patterns that can manifest in your current reality. (And thank goodness for that, otherwise every time you were mad and said something like “I hate you and I never want to see you again!” you’d create that reality on the spot. Oops.)
Keep it positive.
In your final intent statement do not say what you don’t want but say instead what you do want. “I will be free of fear” becomes “I will feel free.” (And then see how it feels to specify what “feeling free” means in your daily life.)
Try statements like “I am”.
Try substituting the statement “I want” or “I will” with "I am". See how it feels. Sometimes saying “I want” keeps you wanting and never receiving. The statement “I want a soul mate” can sometimes feel like you’re still focusing on what you don’t want instead of what you do want. (“But I waaaaant it! Why don’t I have it yet?”)
Pay attention to how your intent feels.
When you read your intent statement out loud or to yourself, how does it feel? If you feel anything other than joy and enthusiasm then your statement is triggering a block within you. Re-write your statement until you feel only positive things like joy and enthusiasm when you read it.
This is very important!
I used to think it was good if my intent statement made me anxious. I thought if I felt uncomfortable it meant I was getting down to business and asking for what I really wanted.
I thought I was challenging myself.
I thought I was growing.
What I discovered was that uncomfortable feelings in action result in non-positive results in life. After all, it's a magnetic Universe and Like attracts Like.
By making sure you feel great when you read your intent statement, even if you have to alter or “lessen” or your goal to reach that good feeling, you will begin to attract positive, lasting change in your life.
It’s better to heal in “baby steps” than not to heal at all!
It’s Supposed to Be Fun
But remember this as well:
Life is supposed to be fun. So play with your intent statement. See what happens when you say “I will have fun achieving my goal.” Or “It will feel natural and easy to reach my goal.”
You’re allowed to do deep healing and enjoy the process at the same time!
Now You Have It!
A healer or spiritual guide can help you accelerate your own healing process. But you’re the one who’s doing the steering.
To make sure you’re heading in a direction you want to go you must have a strong, clear, positive-feeling intent.
And now you can craft and perfect (and write down) an intent statement that feels amazing when you read it.
It will be bold. It will be clear. It will be strong.
And with this intent statement in hand, you will begin to attract the perfect healer/spiritual guide, the perfect healing modality and the perfect experiences for you that will get you consistent, positive results.
So get clear about the positive life that you want to live and keep making it clearer, keep repeating it and keep writing it down - and let the healing begin!
