As I am reading The Magical Reality: Seth Speaks About the Art of Creative Living, channeled by Jane Roberts, I am reminded once more of the incredibly important notion of actually putting these things into DAILY practice. Three years before the book was written, Robert and Jane were given information, by Seth, about the difference between inner and outer reality and how inner reality CREATES outer reality. (This was, to them, an entirely new and radical idea because back in the 70's Abraham, Wayne Dyer and all of the now-all-over Law of Attraction people did not exist.) In the book Robert admitted they had not done much with that information in those three years. Jane's health was suffering greatly and Seth was trying to help them. It reminded me of me. When I first leaned about Law of Attraction I rebelled against the idea that I created my own reality. Then I rebelled against the idea that I would have to WORK at it to create a new one. And, like going to to the gym to build muscles, I would have to KEEP IT UP. UG! Even Ester, who channels Abraham, admits to doing over 20 focus wheels a day sometimes. Really? REALLY?! But over time I began to realize my life was being created no matter what, by me, whether I was consciously doing it or just doing it unconsciously. And really, how much work was I saving? Wasn't cleaning up that relationship going to take a lot of time and emotional work? Wasn't dealing with that wrong-for-me-job going to take some financial, emotional and mental work to regroup from? I began to see that life is "work", whether you do it up front or you clean up after it, you have to be awake and engaged in it if you want it to be clear. If I was going to have the life I wanted I was going to have create it myself. Either by wanting it more. Appreciating more. Forgiving more. Allowing more. Whatever tool of the day was necessary to help me get out of my own way and allow my dreams to come forth and, as soon as i was able to let them, be made manifest. Fight it if you want. Throw a fit about it if it feels good. (I did! ;) But once you stop resisting the fact that life is meant to be a conscious, ongoing process and you start applying consistent, conscious processes to it, your life will change for the better. It has to. It is Law. :) Comments are closed.
