_Everyone in the spiritual community and beyond is talking about the significant date of 2012. Or December 21, 2012 to be exact. But what is it? And why is it said the Mayan calendar ends with it?
_ The reason is this:
The Earth is a spiritual being, just like you and me, and she has a timed cycle. Sort of like a woman's monthly cycle, only regarding the 2012 shift it's a cycle that doesn't occur every 28 days or so, but about every 13,000 years.
Because the Earth's axis is not straight up-and-down but on a tilt, the "top" of the Earth creates a wide circle as time goes by.
This means that every 12,920 years the Earth either begins a time pointed away from the center of the Universe out into male energy (where we have been) or the Earth begins a time pointed towards the center of the Universe into female energy.
The new 13,000 year cycle back into feminine energy starts in 2012.
(It also begins a new Age of Aquarius. The Earth passes through all 12 constellations in this big circle, a new constellation every 2,160 years.)
With this shift comes a change in the Earth's physical energy.
Just like human beings have a shaft of light that runs up through the center of their body called the kundalini, so too does the Earth. For a long time now that Earth kundalini has been shining out from the planet in Tibet. That's why Tibet and the surrounding areas have been full of awakened masters and teachings.
But that has now changed.
The kundalini moved all around the Earth (passing through the U.S. in the 60's, all you flower children!) and now it is shining out form high in the Andes mountains in Chile. This means that as the centuries go by Chile and Peru will shine with awakened masters and teachings just like Tibet and India has.
What does that mean to you?
Have you ever gone into a hotel with beautiful surroundings, lush gardens and flowing fountains? Even if you had a hard day's travel did you find yourself instantly refreshed?
On the other hand have you ever walked into a hotel that smelled like bleach yet was still dirty, cramped and close to a loud highway? Did you find yourself refreshed?
The environment around us affects us in many ways.
We can still choose our thoughts and how we act in the world but the example of the hotels reminds us that we find ourselves more easily tuned into relaxation in surroundings that welcome it, and we may find ourselves doing more work to feel refreshed in surroundings that do not.
Right now we are spiritual souls in physical form...and the Earth is our hotel.
So as the Earth's energy shifts, the environment shifts and people are responding, even if they don't know why.
Beautiful The new cycle we are entering into is beautiful. It's a time of coming together. It's a time where the feminine within everyone is embraced and lived. It's a time of heart-centered community and conscious co-creation with ourselves, each other, and the Universe.
But do we need to tell "2012" to everyone?
No. :)
We can simply help anyone who asks "How do you stay so happy?" by smiling and hugging them and by sharing the actual shift: "I live in my heart. Care to join me?"
That's 2012. Or rather, that's 2013 and 2014 and 2015 and 2016...
